Edit photos in your browser. They stay on your device.
White Room is a photo editor that runs in your browser. Your photos are processed and kept on your device: there is no upload and no account.
What you can do
- Import a series of JPEG and PNG photos and see them in a grid.
- Pick or reject photos, rate them with stars, then filter and sort the series.
- Adjust white balance, exposure and tone, the tone curve, colors, color grading, sharpening and noise reduction.
- Crop, rotate and straighten.
- Export one photo or a whole series as JPEG files: to a folder, as one ZIP file or as separate downloads.

Your photos stay on your device
The editor works with your photos inside the browser. Originals, edits and previews are kept in the browser's storage on this device. They are not sent to us or to anyone else while you edit. Loading the website itself still sends ordinary requests to our hosting provider, as the Privacy Policy describes.
Because your browser keeps your work, clearing the site's data can remove it. Keep your original photos and back up your edits from time to time. The backup guide shows how.
Desktop, tablet and phone
White Room needs a recent browser with WebGL2. Our automated tests run in the engines of Chrome and Edge, Firefox and Safari. We have not finished testing it on real phones and tablets yet, so treat them as experimental. Help explains what your browser needs.
This is an alpha
White Room is early software. It does not open RAW files, has no masks or presets, and cannot copy the settings of one photo to others yet. Some details may still change. See what is not there yet.
