Photographs stay in the editor on your device
White Room processes your photographs locally in your browser. The editor stores originals, previews, editing settings and workspace information in browser storage, including IndexedDB and the Origin Private File System where supported. We do not receive those files or settings through the editing workflow, and the editor does not send them to anyone else.
The editor runs at /editor/ of this website. Your browser keeps this storage for the website's address as a whole, not for one page, so the pages of the website and the editor share it. The pages of this website run no scripts, and no script of another company runs anywhere on the website or in the editor.
You can remove photographs and local workspace data with the editor's controls or your browser's site-data settings. A browser can also remove this information itself, for example when the device runs out of space. Keep your originals and backups before deleting local data. Deleting local data does not delete an image you separately sent us by email.
Requests to our website
Opening the website or the editor sends network requests to our hosting and delivery provider, Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS Amplify Hosting). These requests include your IP address, the requested URL, your browser's information and the time. The provider keeps them in access logs for as long as the website is hosted there. Only we and the provider can read these logs, and we use them only to keep the website working and secure. Do not put private photo names or other personal information in website URLs.
Diagnostics
The editor sends no error reports, usage statistics or other diagnostics. In the editor, Help › About White Room Alpha can show a device report about your browser; it goes to us only if you copy it into a message yourself.
Contacting us
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and any attachments you choose to send. Our email provider is Gmail (Google). We use this information to answer and handle your request, and keep it for 12 months after the last message. Please avoid sending sensitive photographs unless they are needed for your request.
Cookies, consent and advertising
Advertising is currently disabled. An AdSense account verification tag or an ads.txt entry may identify our publisher account, but those entries alone do not load advertisements. We do not currently load advertising or consent-management scripts on this website or in the editor. The Cookies and local storage page lists what the editor keeps in your browser.
Analytics
We do not add analytics or session-replay tools to the website or the editor. This does not mean that no request reaches a server: see Requests to our website above.
Your choices and rights
You can manage local editor data through the editor and your browser's settings, and contact vadimzno21@gmail.com about data you sent to us. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction or portability of your personal data, and a right to complain to a supervisory authority.
Updates
We will publish changes here with a new effective date and give additional notice where required. Changes in advertising or data processing will be reflected in this policy before they take effect.
